Overview / 00
What this means in practice.
Each section explains the user-facing promise, the operational boundary behind it, and where to go when something needs attention.
01
Verification before publication
Omkin reviews identity, service track, qualifications, professional claims, languages, service description, and required credentials before a profile can be published. Therapy licenses are stored with jurisdiction, status, and expiry.
A professional profile cannot self-approve.
Material credential or scope changes trigger a new review.
Expired or unverified therapy credentials block eligible access.
Coaches must acknowledge and follow a non-clinical boundary.
02
Eligibility at every critical step
The platform confirms physical location, evaluates a versioned jurisdiction rule, snapshots credential status, records the relevant consent, and blocks ineligible licensed therapy during discovery, booking, and session entry.
03
Private access and accountable records
Session entry uses short-lived, role-scoped access. Sensitive intake, care, and communication data are separated from routine account records where appropriate, while security and administrative actions create auditable events.
Least-privilege access for staff and systems
Step-up verification for sensitive account actions
Access and change logs protected from ordinary editing
Documented retention and deletion workflows
04
Reporting and incident response
Clients and practitioners can report safety, boundary, harassment, fraud, identity, privacy, and technical concerns. Cases receive severity, restricted ownership, response targets, evidence handling, and a reviewable outcome.
Immediate containment can restrict a profile, booking, or account.
The affected person receives an appropriate status update.
A professional can be re-reviewed, suspended, or removed.
Material incidents follow applicable notification duties.
05
Emergency boundary
Omkin is not an emergency service, crisis line, or continuously monitored care channel. A scheduled session, support ticket, coaching message, or professional profile cannot replace local emergency help.

Questions are part of trust.
Use the dedicated support, privacy, safety, accessibility, or legal route. Emergency needs should always go directly to local services.
