Overview / 00
What this means in practice.
Each section explains the user-facing promise, the operational boundary behind it, and where to go when something needs attention.
01
Location and licensing
Licensed therapy is offered only when the professional's active credential and approved scope cover the client's confirmed physical location. Nationality, residence, cultural background, and a previous session do not replace this check.
02
Eligibility can change
Travel, relocation, credential expiry, a rule change, age, service type, or professional availability can change whether therapy may proceed. Omkin checks eligibility during discovery, booking, and session entry.
03
Professional judgment and consent
The treating professional decides whether the requested format is appropriate, explains their identity, credential, privacy practice, communication limits, fees, and emergency boundary, and obtains the consent required for the service.
04
Records, privacy, and emergencies
Professional record obligations vary by jurisdiction. Omkin separates platform records from professional care records where the operating model requires it and does not provide emergency dispatch or continuously monitored clinical communication.
